FAQs
Will the magnetic strength weaken over time? What is the expected lifespan?
The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop uses high-grade Neodymium magnets that have an extremely long lifespan. These magnets will not lose their magnetic force for decades, ensuring consistent tension and reliability for your SHODA embroidery machine. It’s a one-time investment designed to last through continuous magnetic hoop embroidery operations.
If I have computers or USB drives near my embroidery station, could the strong magnets damage my electronic data?
It’s a good practice to keep your MaggieFrame magnetic hoops away from sensitive electronic devices or magnetic media such as USB drives, credit cards, and external hard drives. To avoid potential data interference, maintain at least 50 cm distance between the magnetic embroidery hoop and those devices while operating your SHODA machine.
For a shop handling high-volume orders daily, can this magnetic frame significantly reduce employee hand fatigue?
Yes. The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for SHODA embroidery machines was designed with ergonomics in mind. Its magnetic snapping system replaces the repetitive twisting of manual hoops, reducing strain on hands and wrists. This ease of use minimizes repetitive stress injury (RSI) risks, improves efficiency, and helps your team maintain better comfort during long embroidery shifts.
What should I do if I notice the fabric slipping slightly during the embroidery process?
If fabric slipping occurs while using your MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop, check three possible causes: 1) The stabilizer may be too weak for dense stitching. 2) The material might be too thick or slippery—using a non-slip grip tape can help. 3) The hoop size could be oversized for the design, creating a loose surface. Proper setup typically eliminates these issues.
