FAQs
Can this magnetic hoop embroider bulky or hard-to-hoop items like jackets or bags?
Yes. The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for Sister embroidery machines uses powerful, evenly distributed magnetic force to secure thick or irregular fabrics such as denim, sweatshirt fleece, bags, and heavy jackets. It eliminates the struggle of clamping bulky materials, reducing hoop marks while maintaining fabric tension and embroidery alignment perfectly.
What should I do if I lose a bracket or a magnet breaks on my hoop?
You can purchase replacement parts individually from our MaggieFrame service store. We provide metal brackets, screws, and magnetic components compatible with your hoop size, including the 12.4″ × 15.6″ (315 × 395 mm) version. This ensures your magnetic embroidery hoop stays functional and durable for continuous production without interruption.
How much efficiency improvement can I expect using these magnetic hoops on a multi-head machine?
When all stations of a multi-head embroidery machine are equipped with MaggieFrame magnetic hoops, hooping time can be reduced by 30–60 seconds per hoop per head. Over an 8-hour production shift, this translates to a 15–25% throughput increase, especially when running multiple heads on models like the Sister Q200 or 1501CLS for large runs of embroidered garments.
How can I ensure proper installation and alignment on my Sister embroidery machine?
Before starting embroidery, securely attach the supplied metal brackets to your MaggieFrame hoop and align with your Sister machine’s frame arms. Check that the hoop lies flat and magnets engage evenly across the surface. This stable positioning maintains consistent tension and prevents fabric shifting during embroidery, providing smooth and accurate stitching performance.
