FAQs
What is the correct procedure for hooping fabric with this magnetic frame?
To use the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for your HE FENG embroidery machine, start by placing the bottom frame on your hooping station. Next, lay stabilizer and fabric smoothly over it. Finally, let the top magnetic frame snap into place—no pressure needed. The powerful magnet locks the layers evenly, reducing hoop marks and fabric distortion.
Should I buy a full set of magnetic frames or just one hoop size?
If you are just starting, begin with the 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) embroidery hoop size you use most frequently. Most customers later add more magnetic hoops to handle diverse garment types efficiently. A full set helps maximize productivity across multiple HE FENG machine models, reducing downtime between jobs.
Can I use this magnetic hoop size for small items like baby onesies or pet bandanas?
This 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) magnetic embroidery hoop is slightly large for tiny items but still usable. You can float smaller garments on stabilizer within the hoop to achieve secure tension. For compact embroidery zones, we recommend MaggieFrame’s smaller hoop sizes for better precision and control on HE FENG embroidery machines.
If I equip all stations of my multi-head HE FENG machine with MaggieFrame magnetic hoops, how will it affect productivity?
When all heads of your HE FENG HFII or HFIII multi-head embroidery machine use magnetic hoops, every hooping cycle becomes faster. Saving 30–60 seconds per head per setup, over an 8-hour shift, can increase throughput by 15–25%. This translates to higher efficiency, consistent fabric tension, and reduced operator fatigue across large production runs.
