When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated outside of it?
Both methods can work with the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for britex embroidery machines. For most garments, place the stabilizer inside the magnetic embroidery frame, sandwiching it with the fabric to achieve firm support and clean stitching. For structured or bulky items, floating the stabilizer beneath the lower hoop ring can help prevent stretching while keeping hooping easy and secure.
I need to embroider a very small item like a tie or a sock. Can I float these items on top of this frame?
Yes. The MaggieFrame 3.9″ × 12.8″ (100 × 320 mm) magnetic hoop is excellent for floating small or hard-to-hoop items. Use a sticky stabilizer or base fabric inside the hoop, then position your small item on top.
