FAQs
Can I use this 12″ × 11.5″ (305 × 295 mm) magnetic frame to embroider small items like baby onesies or pet bandanas?
This frame may be too large for very small items such as baby onesies or pet bandanas. However, you can still embroider them by floating the fabric on a stabilizer inside the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for FUJA embroidery machine. For frequent small designs, consider a smaller MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame size for better control.
Compared to my machine’s original round hoop, what are the advantages of using this square magnetic embroidery frame for logos?
The square 12″ × 11.5″ (305 × 295 mm) magnetic embroidery frame offers a wider usable area than a round hoop. It provides better alignment for rectangular or square logos while reducing fabric waste. The flat sides are easier to position on FUJA FJ-series embroidery machines, helping achieve consistent results on apparel, bags, and flat fabrics.
Why is my fabric puckering in the center during embroidery, even though I hooped it tightly with the magnetic frame?
Fabric puckering is usually caused by stabilizer selection rather than hoop tension. Ensure you use the correct stabilizer type for your fabric—cut-away for knits or tear-away for wovens—and avoid stretching the material while setting it in the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for FUJA machines. A proper stabilizer will keep designs smooth and even.
Are there any situations where using a traditional screw hoop would be better than this magnetic embroidery frame?
While the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame works efficiently for most tasks, very thick or rigid materials like heavy leather may still benefit from a traditional screw hoop for maximum grip. For garments, towels, or jackets on FUJA embroidery machines, the magnetic frame provides faster setup and strong, even tension with less fabric stress.
