FAQs
Are there any situations where using a traditional screw hoop would be better than this magnetic frame?
While magnetic hoops are faster and easier for about 95% of embroidery projects, a traditional screw hoop may be preferred for extremely heavy or rigid fabrics, such as thick leather or boot tongues, when maximum tension is required. For most apparel, towels, and bags, the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop provides excellent stability and surface smoothness.
How can I use the markings on this frame to ensure my design is perfectly centered on a t-shirt?
Use the engraved center and grid markings on your MaggieFrame magnetic hoop to align precisely with your garment’s pre-marked center points. Mark the t-shirt with a washable pen and match it using a T-square or placement guide. This ensures accurate centering and consistent design placement on STITCHERO embroidery machines every time.
Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame's size, or do I need to set it manually?
Like most third-party machine embroidery hoops, the MaggieFrame hoop for STITCHERO requires manual setup. You’ll need to input the hoop size (12.4″ × 15.6″ / 315 × 395 mm) into your machine’s software and confirm that your design fits within the actual sewing field to prevent border clipping or design misalignment.
Can I use this frame size to embroider small items like baby onesies or pet bandanas?
This 12.4″ × 15.6″ (315 × 395 mm) embroidery magnetic hoop is designed for medium to large designs. For very small pieces such as onesies or pet bandanas, you can still use this hoop by floating smaller fabrics on stabilizer. However, a smaller MaggieFrame size may provide better handling and efficiency for delicate or compact embroidery projects.
