FAQs
Will the strong magnets interfere with the electronics of my RVM embroidery machine?
No, the magnets in the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop are 100% safe for your embroidery machine. During normal use, they will not affect the machine’s computer or electronic parts. Simply avoid placing the magnetic embroidery frame directly next to circuit boards or computers, and you can work confidently without interference.
Why does my fabric pucker in the center even though I hooped it tightly?
Fabric puckering when using a MaggieFrame embroidery magnetic hoop is usually related to the stabilizer, not hooping itself. Use the correct type and weight of stabilizer, such as a cut-away stabilizer for stretchy knits, and ensure the fabric is not stretched too tightly when hooping. Proper stabilization guarantees a smooth and even embroidery surface on your RVM machine.
If I hoop the fabric crookedly, can I reposition it easily without damage?
Yes, that’s one of the main benefits of the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame. If the fabric is misaligned, just lift the top magnetic plate, adjust your material, and snap it back into place. The strong yet gentle magnets secure the fabric without leaving marks or distortions, letting you fix alignment quickly for precise embroidery results.
Can the magnets in the hoop damage USB drives or other data devices nearby?
It’s recommended to keep powerful magnets, like those in the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop, away from sensitive magnetic media and data storage devices. Keep USB drives, credit cards, and external hard disks at least 50 cm away from your embroidery station to avoid data loss, while your RVM embroidery machine operation remains perfectly safe.
