FAQs
Who should I contact for technical support if I have trouble with installation or use?
Our expert support team is always ready to help with any questions about your MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame. Whether you need guidance on installation, compatibility with your MEXA embroidery machine, or tips for optimal use, contact us through email, phone, or live chat. We’ll ensure your embroidery setup runs smoothly and efficiently.
Is the fabric tension provided by this magnetic frame more even than traditional hoops? How does this benefit embroidery quality?
Yes. The MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop distributes magnetic force evenly across the frame, ensuring balanced fabric tension. This prevents distortion and puckering that can occur with regular hoops. The result is sharper outlines, cleaner stitch alignment, and improved quality, especially when used with MEXA embroidery machine models like MEXA-JUMBO or MEXA-Vego.
What types of designs is this specific frame size best suited for?
The 6″ × 8″ (150 × 200 mm) magnetic frame is a versatile choice for mid-sized embroidery projects. It’s ideal for sweatshirt fronts, small tote bags, towel logos, and left-chest branding on uniforms. When paired with your MEXA embroidery machine, it provides excellent stability and cleaner results on both light and thick fabrics.
When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or ‘floated’ outside of it?
For most embroidery tasks, place the stabilizer and fabric together inside the MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame for the best tension and alignment. However, for bulky garments or hard-to-hoop items, you can float the stabilizer beneath the bottom frame. Both methods work effectively with MEXA machines when properly aligned.
