FAQs
What is the best way to clean spray adhesive residue off the frame?
To clean spray adhesive or residue from your MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame, use a soft cloth dampened with citrus-based cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Gently wipe the hoop surface to remove the buildup. Avoid soaking the frame or using strong solvents, as they may weaken the magnet hoop finish or deform metal parts.
I mainly embroider t-shirt logos. Which frame size is the most appropriate for me?
For left-chest t-shirt or polo logos, the most popular option is the 4″ × 4″ (100 × 100 mm) MaggieFrame magnetic hoop, which offers an ideal working area for compact designs. For larger center-chest or full-front embroidery, consider a 10″ × 10″ (254 × 254 mm) or bigger magnetic embroidery frame for more flexibility and efficient design placement.
Is it necessary to use protective stickers on the frame to prevent it from scratching the fabric?
It is generally not necessary to apply stickers or protective film on your MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frames, as their smooth surface is safe for cotton, polyester, and blended materials. However, if you work with ultra-delicate or slippery fabrics, you may add a thin layer of painter’s tape to improve fabric grip and prevent any potential slipping during hooping.
Does the size in the product title refer to the dimensions or the actual embroidery field?
The listed size, such as 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm), refers to the inner embroidery field of your magnetic frame for Texi machines. It indicates the approximate stitchable area. For best results and even tension, leave a small margin of about 0.3″ (around 7 mm) inside this field when positioning your design, ensuring clean edges and stable hooping.
