Why did my needle hit the edge of the magnetic hoop during embroidery?
This can happen if your machine’s selected hoop size is larger than the actual sewing field of the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm), or if your design was digitized too big. Always choose the correct or smaller hoop size in your SWF embroidery machine software and perform a trace test before stitching to avoid needle strikes.
If my fabric is hooped crookedly, can I easily reposition it without damage?
Yes, that’s a major advantage of MaggieFrame magnetic hoops. Simply lift off the top magnetic frame, adjust the fabric, and snap it back on within seconds. Should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated underneath?

Both methods maintain smooth tension and prevent shifting during embroidery on SWF models.
Does the size 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) refer to the entire hoop or the embroidery field?
This dimension represents the inner embroidery area of the magnetic hoop, not the outer rim size. To achieve precise stitching results with your MaggieFrame embroidery frame for SWF machines, always leave about 0.3″ (≈0.75 cm) margin inside the hoop field to avoid design clipping or border misalignment during operation.
