My needle hit the edge of the MaggieFrame hoop. Why did this happen?
Needle strikes usually occur when the machine’s software is set to a hoop size larger than the MaggieFrame 8.5″ × 9″ (215 × 230 mm) field or when the design exceeds the hoop’s actual embroidery area. Always choose the correct or smaller hoop size in your embroidery system and perform a trace test before stitching to prevent any needle collision or fabric damage.
I mainly embroider polo logos. Which MaggieFrame hoop size is best?
For polo shirts and small logo designs, the 5″ magnetic hoop offers ideal precision and control. If you work with slightly larger logos or stacked text, consider a 7″ magnetic embroidery hoop for added flexibility.
