FAQs
Are the top and bottom parts of the magnetic frame symmetrical, or do they have a specific orientation?
The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for PROMOTEX embroidery machines is designed with uniquely shaped top and bottom frames that fit together perfectly for accurate alignment. Both sections contain built-in magnets to ensure even holding force across the surface, reducing fabric shifting and ensuring consistent results on different materials.
For a business that does live customization at events or markets, is a magnetic frame more efficient and portable than traditional hoops?
Yes, it is the perfect tool for live embroidery events. The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop allows you to hoop a garment in about three seconds, saving time and minimizing setup effort. Its compact magnetic design eliminates fiddling with screws, boosts professionalism, and increases embroidery output, making it ideal for event-based customization and mobile embroidery setups.
For a new employee, which has a shorter learning curve: training them on this magnetic frame or on a traditional screw hoop?
The magnetic hoop has a much shorter learning curve compared to traditional screw hoops. With the MaggieFrame for PROMOTEX machines, hooping is a simple snap-and-go action that provides correct tension instantly. New staff members can quickly master the process, reducing training time while maintaining consistent embroidery quality on various projects.
When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or 'floated' outside of it?
For most embroidery projects, the stabilizer is best sandwiched with the fabric inside the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for optimal stability and tension. However, for bulky or sensitive garments, you can ‘float’ the stabilizer beneath the bottom frame only. Both methods produce excellent results depending on the material and design density of your embroidery work.
