FAQs
Will my HIGHLAND embroidery machine automatically detect the MaggieFrame hoop size?
Like most third-party magnetic embroidery hoops, your HIGHLAND machine will not automatically recognize the exact hoop dimensions. You need to manually set the 10.5″×12.4″ (265×315 mm) frame size within your software. Always ensure the design fits within the hoop’s sewing field to prevent needle strikes or border clipping.
Can this magnetic embroidery frame handle continuous industrial production?
Yes. MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery frame for HIGHLAND machines is engineered with industrial-grade durability. The rigid metal body and permanent N52-level magnets resist warping and fatigue, even under 24/7 embroidery cycles. This construction ensures consistent pressure and precise fabric hold for long-term commercial use.
What should I do if the fabric slips during embroidery?
If fabric movement occurs inside the magnetic hoop embroidery process, check stabilizer quality first—thin backing may cause looseness. For thick or slippery fabrics like satin or leather, add a non-slip tape layer on the hoop edges. Also, make sure the chosen hoop size suits the design area to prevent the “drum effect” and maintain stable tension.
What type of magnets does this MaggieFrame use?
Each MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop contains high-grade N52 Neodymium magnets for powerful, permanent force retention. These magnets deliver reliable fabric grip on HIGHLAND models such as HM/D‑1501U or HM‑1508, preventing drift or distortion even during dense stitching. Their strength remains stable through years of heavy embroidery use.
