Simply hoop a sticky stabilizer or backing fabric, then place your item, such as a tie or sock, on top. What frame size do you recommend for embroidering T-shirt logos?
For left‑chest logos, smaller MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoops like the 4″ × 4″ (100 × 100 mm) or 5″ × 5″ (130 × 130 mm) are ideal. For full‑front or large artwork, choose sizes from 8.5″ × 9″ (215 × 230 mm) upward. COS‑series users often combine these frames for various garment placements efficiently.
Should the stabilizer be placed inside the magnetic frame or floated outside?
Both options work well with the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for COS machines. For most fabrics, it’s best to sandwich the stabilizer between the inner surfaces for even tension. However, “floating” the stabilizer below the bottom frame helps with thick items, such as towels or sweatshirts, to avoid hoop marks.
